Until
In the darkest season of my life a friend recommended I buy a journal and cry out to God on its pages. I despised the thought of writing anything. But because my pain and torment was so severe, I bought my first journal.
Words can not adequately describe the profound organic power of crying out to God on the pages of your own personal journal. I had no idea how personal God was until the journal became my daily experience. Now I call it the cell phone to heaven.
I also call the journal 'my Gold-Pan'. Because this is the place where I learned to distinguish the sand of my own thoughts from the priceless gold of God's voice.
I testify now to this experience. I hear the Holy Spirit and write like Sarah Young, the best-selling author of the devotional, JESUS CALLING, which sold over 45 MILLION copies worldwide.
God doesn't want us to
